37th Annual Russian Tea Room and Bazaar

Our 37th annual Russian Tea Room and Bazaar will be held on Saturday Nov. 6,  from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,  and Sunday, Nov. 7 after Liturgy from Noon to 3 pm.

The Russian Tea Room will feature handmade Traditional Russian foods including, Cheese Blini (a cheese filled crepe), Vareniki (pierogi) (a stuffed, boiled dumpling), stuffed with cheese, potato and cheese or seasoned cabbage all served with sautéed onions. Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, stuffed with beef, rice and seasonings then baked in tomato sauce. Kielbasa Sandwiches, available on a dark rye bread piled high with kielbasa and sauerkraut. Fresh Borscht (soup) served with sour cream.  Try our Russian Tea, which is sure to warm you up on a cold fall day.  Leave a little room for a sampling from our Dessert Booth or buy a whole pie or a loaf of Russian Rye bread at Babushka’s Bakery.

Those who have visited the Russian Marketplace know to expect a wide selection of quality Nesting Dolls, exquisite Lacquer Boxes and broaches, Amber Jewelry and much much more.

Our Kraft Kiosk features beautiful hand dyed Pysanky Eggs created by parishioner Susan Ranstead.  Susan dyes her eggs in traditional, as well as, contemporary designs.

Bring the kids and let them play a few of our games at the Kids Korner while you shop.
